

The customer service is terrible! They never call back when they say they will, full of excuses! And never give you a real answer. Which we thought we'd found! Always book private transfer as 2 members of our family suffer with travel sickness so hours on a coach aren't an option! To cut a very long story short after being promised a private transfer by the sales advisor we have been put on the coach which after many phone calls amounting to hours of wasted time we have got nowhere in changing this! We spent a long time on the phone to them finding our perfect holiday.


This was our 3rd year booking with them and our last! Teletext have really let us down this year! Won't be using again. Though I don't book through OAT's or online sites because when there is a problem it's up to me to nag and phone and you are too easily dismissed. Eventually got it £300 cheaper than the 'last minute deal' One company rang me 4 times as the price of the holiday went down. I can't tell you the number of times I've been told these things and declined but after checking and contacting them again it is still there. It' only takes half an hour or so to do it well enough. If a company is genuine there will be time to check reviews, location etc. "there are only 2 rooms left' - another frequent sales technique used to make people book before they are sure. "Also, saw many negative comments about the Hotel" after you booked - this is why you are encouraged to book right now so that you don't have time to look at the reviews or other prices. "Checked online and found cheaper within half an hour of booking." this happens, of course it may not be cheaper once you ring to book and find out the details Think I'll give teletext a miss next time Or." we have a cancellation here is more expensive than yours but we'll cover the price, wish I'd had the time to check it, but I was by this point driving again, it's actually much cheaper lesser star and lesser trip advisor rating. I declined and was told they could refund me but it would take 3 working days, it is Friday, so will be wed before money goes back into my bank. Within moments of me having paid he informed me that he was having trouble getting through to the hotel, then phoned me back in ten minutes telling me the hotel Web was slow and he had phoned them and unfortunately now the twin / double room were all gone, but.they had a family room available at another £168. Booked what looked like an amazing holiday this afternoon with teletext holiday,the agent very carefully went through all the details and specifics asking me to carefully check everything,told me there were only two rooms left and did we want to do this now before they were gone, I did and paid for it.
